Authenticity within Randolph Loude Atelier is established through the relationship between the physical work, its Certificate of Authenticity & Provenance, its serial identity, and its corresponding Atelier record.

No single visual element should be understood independently from the complete documentation surrounding a work.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY & PROVENANCE

Qualifying Atelier works receive a Certificate of Authenticity & Provenance corresponding to their classification.

The certificate may document information including:

TITLE
YEAR
MEDIUM / MATERIAL
DIMENSIONS
ORIGIN
EDITION
SERIAL NUMBER

Additional information may be maintained within the Atelier’s internal or digital records.

The certificate should remain associated with its corresponding work.

STAMPED SERIAL

Each qualifying Atelier work is assigned an identifying serial within the Randolph Loude serial system.

The corresponding serial may be physically stamped onto the Certificate of Authenticity & Provenance.

The stamped serial creates a physical reference to the work’s registered identity.

Serials should not be altered, recreated, reassigned, removed from their intended documentation, or transferred from one physical work to another.

A serial number alone does not establish authenticity. It must correspond with the records maintained by Randolph Loude Atelier.

QR

Qualifying Atelier documentation may contain a unique QR code connecting the physical certificate to its corresponding digital record.

Where a public Provenance record is available, scanning the QR code may provide direct access to the record associated with that specific work.

The QR code functions as a bridge between the physical documentation and the Atelier’s digital record.

It does not replace the serial, certificate, or physical work.

DIGITAL RECORD

The digital Atelier record may contain information associated with a work’s identity, including its title, year, medium, dimensions, classification, edition information, serial identity, issuance information, and documented history where applicable.

Publicly accessible information may differ from information maintained privately within the Atelier’s internal registry.

Collector identity, private transaction information, contact information, and other non-public records do not need to appear within the public record.

VERIFICATION

The authentication architecture can therefore be understood as:

PHYSICAL WORK → COA → STAMPED SERIAL + UNIQUE QR → DIGITAL RECORD

The components operate together.

The existence of a certificate, QR code, serial number, image, label, or digital page independently does not establish authenticity if it does not correspond with records maintained by Randolph Loude Atelier.

ALTERATION

Unauthorized duplication, alteration, reproduction, or creation of Atelier certificates, serial identifiers, QR codes, labels, or related authentication materials does not establish authenticity.

A copied QR code or reproduced serial does not independently establish that an object was issued by Randolph Loude Atelier.

LOST OR DAMAGED DOCUMENTATION

Loss or damage of a Certificate of Authenticity & Provenance does not automatically entitle an owner to replacement documentation.

Any verification, replacement, or subsequent documentation remains subject to review against Atelier records and any procedures in effect at that time.

COPYRIGHT

Authentication establishes the documented identity and relationship of a work to Randolph Loude Atelier.

Authentication does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights, licensing rights, or other intellectual-property rights.
